It has to do with Hex coding. I will let you know if I find anything. He has been all too vague with me, and his mod barely works right now. Not trying to discredit him, but I think we should give him some time to figure out in greater detail what he is doing. It's a great mod, just not fond of the color, myself.
I just re-downloaded this mod on the website, I installed it, and it works for me, now what I want you to do is check the version of your game at the bottom left, if it is of 1.04 for example this could explain why it works for some people and not for all, because my version of the game is 1.07 , the files may be organized differently according to the versions
Hey, just a question. Which files are to edit just the appearance of the ship? Green is a fin color and all, but im trying to get the fortune sails on a pirate hunter model. Any direction on that?
First you have to go into the file "DataPC_extra_chr.forge" with anvill toolkit and then into "3175_-_SHP_MOW_Nosso.data" and there you have file 42 - 47 and you can edit them with notepad++ or another program
But i am truly curious on how to change the sounds of the broadside cannons, to make it sound like legendary ship side cannons. and to increase the distance on how far the cannon balls can go.
