So I've been using this for a bit now but there's a script that irks me that I can't get to work consistently which is "Instantly Swing Off From Still Hangs" I have it assigned to "C". I have "swing from beams" always on as well as swing/eject and its value. There seems to be a certain move or context that breaks the move when doing a "manual vault" onto a beam ---> to hang on beam (I don't use "always vault to hang") ---> into a swing.
Sometimes it works completely consistently, can do it multiple times no problem, then after parkouring for a bit using "super hop" "parkour down" "dive to beam" it breaks and can't get it to work once, vice versa and it fixes itself (Breaks more than it works though). I've gone through around an hour of just testing different scripts but there doesn't seem to be any definitive cause (that I can pinpoint) so I don't know what's wrong and whether or not it's an issue on my part or not.

Mind you "Instantly Swing Off From Still Hangs" works in any other context apart from the context I've provided. Just want to add that this mod is Amazing. I barely even play the story because I'm too busy testing out the parkour in different areas. Everything else works fine too! Just this problem that has seemed to prevail.
Hey there, that is a known problem, this is due to after pulling up, the game takes priority to pull up instead of swing from the swing from beams, you can actually work around that by waiting a bit for Altair to initiate the momentum and then use the instant swing off from still hangs, however it does take a bit of timing.
However, RandomCOG has stepped away from modding and will no longer update and maintain the mod. He has allowed me to continue and improve on his work with the Definitive AC1 Parkour Mod, and the rest of the Ezio trilogy, which includes many of the features here and many more with binds preset for controller and KBM. My mod has also fixed the inconsistent instant swing off from still hangs issue. So I recommend you using my mod instead for the most up to date mod with the latest features. Hey! I Wanted to share something I Learned when trouble-shooting this mod myself, as I was struggling to get it to work and thought I had the wrong version of cheat engine or there was something wrong with my DX10 version of AC1. As it turns out The button binds Associated with the CT Is The Eagle Patch Button Scheme As High Profile has to be held in order to Use the manual vault and the CT thought High profile was linked to The Triggers not the bumpers (which is what the base game uses for high profile and target lock)
so I would:
download eagle patch or change the button binds in The CT
Make sure your using the direct 10 version of AC1 from Steam Or GOG
Check The Hash Of your AC1 Using 7-Zip (When 7-Zip is installed Right Click On your DX10 AC1.exe In your AC1 Game Directory and hover over 7-Zip And select "CRC SHA > CRC-32 and you should see CRC32 3AF8F9D0"
Do you know if it is in any way possible to use DX9 with this mod? As I have 3 others that require DX9 and I would like to incorporate them. (After playing, the mod crashes my game, I've tested every individual thing and each of their actions crash the game. I made sure I'm playing on DX10)
Not sure what exactly you mean by "disable" here, but I'll give the answer to both likely questions. If you mean uninstall, then you don't have to uninstall cheat engine to play other games. If you mean just closing it, you usually don't have to close it to play other games. Do you have a reason to keep it open though? I wouldn't keep it open if you want to play any multiplayer game, as some games might refuse to launch at all, or their anticheats might get triggered. Also cheat engine will return an error if you press a binded hotkey when no game's attached to it. (btw, pressing "No to all" on the error should let you continue)
the mod doesn't work correctly on my game. For example if i insert the "manual vault" option, the character no longer clings after a jump and when i jump from one roof to another the vaulting animation starts. How i can solve it?
Sounds like the mod is working if you can induce vaults just by having Manual Vault on.
I can't do anything about the strangeness that comes with it, vaulting is an unfinished feature by itself, that's why Ubi never taught the player how to do it in AC1 and disabled it from AC2-ACRev.
Your only option is to just not hold the hotkey for Manual Vault when it looks weird. You can use Dive To Beam+Parkour Down Sometimes to accomplish similar goals when a vault looks bad, try and experiment.
If you're using a controller, it would be X (armed hand). On keyboard and mouse, you would have to set the hotkey yourself. (right click on the script you want to set a hotkey for, should be self-explanatory from there.) I have mentioned other pre-set controller hotkeys in the description.
