Special Thanks:
Jintohaku for laying the groundwork for AC parkour modding and helping me get started.
HenryPDT & Petrichor23 for helping with the mod and originally creating some of the features.
Paul44 for making modding easier by creating cheat tables for all AC games and allowing me to use some of his finds in my work.

Description:
This mod gives you a bit more control of some parkour actions.
The following screenshot is outdated, download the file to know what all the new features are. Videos include some of the major features.

You should first tick the boxes that you want permanently toggled on like "Allow Swinging From Beams", "Wind Strength", etc.
Then you can set and use the parkour related scripts with a hold to enable, deactivate on release hotkey, like the following.
Default Xinput Controller Keybinds:
  • Manual Vault - X
  • Parkour Down Sometimes - LB
  • Parkour Down Othertimes - RB
  • Dive To Beam - LT
  • Remove Height Limits (for dropping from ledges, beams, vaults, etc.) - LS
  • Toggle Disable NPC Targeting & Interactions - RS

Requirements:
Although technically not a requirement of this mod per se, I strongly recommend EaglePatchAC1 to fix the messed up controls of the base game.

Also worth checking out the PCGamingWiki page for this game, for things such as how to fix the freezing (link to the freezing fix).

This is optional, but I personally also do the affinity fix mentioned for AC2 & later (link), and cap my fps to 60 in the Nvidia Control Panel with vsync off in-game, just in case to avoid high framerate induced physics related bugs.

Another thing I recommend is using a save file that is set before you head to Arsuf:
Robert de Sablé - Jerusalem: Assassination
This is better than using a 100% completed save file as on the 100% file your only option is to Replay missions(and wait for Al-Mualim's dialogue), unlike in that recommended save file you can just hit Continue to go straight into the open world of Jerusalem with all abilities unlocked (and go back to to other cities if you want).

The only actual requirement is having Cheat Engine installed and the game installed, with the Dx10 executable having the hash CRC32 of 3AF8F9D0 (you can use 7-Zip to check this). For now, only Steam's and GOG's Dx10 version of the game is confirmed to work (as they have the same hash), I don't know about the Ubisoft Connect version.

Installation Text:
  • Download and install Cheat Engine. You may have to have temporarily turn off the firewall, defender and any other antivirus, and add an exception to the Cheat Engine installation folder.
  • Launch up your game and fully load into the world as Altair.
  • Open "AC1_Parkour_Mod_version*.CT" as admin.
  • Click on "Always ask" then "Yes".
  • Check the required boxes.
You'll have to do the last 3 steps every time you launch the game.
