To stop crowding the Bugs tab with incomplete submissions and to make my debug process faster, PLEASE follow this structure when submitting an issue in Bugs Tab.

Issue content (I'll close issues if they don't follow it):
    - Quick description (Just a quick explanation of your issue)
    - Actions you did before encountering a bug (Step by step guide of what you did that caused the bug)
    Optional:
    - Video to show the issue would be nice or an Image

Great modpack! I'm having a blast playing through AC1 again.

As this modpack replaces the .exe file, I'm guessing it cannot be used in conjunction with the aspect ratio fix for Ultra widescreen monitors (https://community.pcgamingwiki.com/files/file/1460-assassins-creed-aspect-ratio-fix/)? Is it at all possible to integrate the function of this mod into the launcher? Personally I'm using a 3440p*1440p 21:9 Monitor, but it's more about widescreen support in general.

In any case, thank you so much for creating this!

It's definitely not the OS itself that's the problem, it works flawlessly for me (I'm using Windows 11)

Sorry to be a bother but is there a reason my FPS is so low? Hitting low 20s, my PC has pretty good specs.

First, I want to say this is a great launcher. It’s very easy to install and use. The combination of mods enhances the experience of AC1, it really does make the game look better graphically. It feels like a proper remaster. It worked great for me up until recently. It just stopped working completely for some reason. The game won’t even open anymore. I can’t figure out the issue, so that’s why I’m posting this. I find it very weird for it to work with no issue and all of a sudden out of nowhere, it just doesn’t anymore. Oh, and if you’re wondering I’m using the steam version. I’m not sure if that would have anything to do with the problem, but I want to mention it anyway, in case it does. Please help me with this problem.

got to use with reshade to make it looks a bit better. Overall, the textures did improved and not blurry. Hopefully, the mod server won't be dead cuz it seems you have to install through application to get the textures file

    Hi!
First, thank you for this amazing mod.

I need help with reshade, is there a way to access Reshade without disabling Umod?
When i install Reshade on top of the previous one, Umod stops working (well not Umod but the texture overhaul stops being injected it seems).
I think it is because of the d3d9.dll.
I need it for my custom preset, for changing the "Display Depth" thing, so shaders like PPFX_SSDO (shadows) can work properly.

I searched on the internet, in the Reshade.ini but no way to fix this, do you have any idea?

    Hello. I did everything accordingly...

    Installed .Net Version 9
Downloaded Mod Installer and Installed It
    Added Shortcut to Desktop
    Opened Game Via Shortcut

Damn, the game looks suuuuper awesome. Thanks mate :)
But 2 problems I'm having which is preventing me from enjoying this masterpiece:

    1. The game only shows 60 Hz max refresh rate. When I played directly from Steam without mod, I could play up to 144 Hz, which I also set to. But there is no option for it now in the current version.
    2. Steam doesn't recognize the game as opened. I opened the game from the shortcut it created, but Steam doesn't state it as playing nor does Steam overlay open. When I click Play from Steam Library, nothing opens now, it just waits 2-3 seconds then again there comes the play button, and no game opens from there.

Please brother let me know how to fix both of these. Thanks :)

I did this because of a Leap of faith bug

Sadly I can't provide official steam support because I don't own it on Steam. I only have access to GOG version and Ubisoft Connect version. You can fix it not launching by going into the game directory and you'll see a backup of your own dx9 executable. Remove the current one, rename your backup to the original name and then apply 4GB executable patch on your own executable.

Hello. Doing it your way didn't work quite exactly as expected, but the overall strategy was to rename it... I found the solution on Steam Discussions:
      Assassin's Creed 1 not loading/launching :: Assassin's Creed Discussioni generali (steamcommunity.com)

      I simply deleted the AssassinsCreed_Game.exe
      And renamed AssassinsCreed_Dx9.exe to AssassinsCreed_Game.exe

Before doing this I opened AssassinsCreed_Game.exe and it wasn't opening from File Explorer as well, so how could Steam open it... xD
I suppose you think that Steam opens up the Dx9 File but in fact, it seems like it opens the main AssassinsCreed_Game.exe

Thanks for the help mate :)
