There seems to be a bug with this that causes the game to cap itself at 8-9 fps, making the game run in slow-motion. If it helps narrow down the issue at all, I'm running on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950x CPU, on the GOG version of the game, with a batch file to launch the game with /affinity to fix the game's crashing because of the CPU having more cores/threads than it supports.
Thanks for the mod! Do you or anyone here know of a similar mod for Assassin's Creed Unity? There are lots of camera control issues in that game but can't find a single fix anywhere
it works without any problem however, you cannot use two different controllers... I have two controllers, xbox one s and xbox 360 as backup... although the hotplugged works, you just cannot switch controllers during in game.
This mod almost works, but now I can't select XInput Controller 1 in settings. It just immediately switches back to KBM 2 buttons when I press enter on XInput Controller 1 without fail. I thought I finally solved my hours long struggle and I'm so close, I just don't get why I can't pick the option.
As per the readme, "Gamepad and kb/mouse controls work at the same time". You don't need to change the option any more; your controller should "just work". If your controller isn't working, is it really XInput? If you're using a dualshock, you might need to use DS4Windows or run the game via Steam with Steam's controller settings to get it working.
Played the game today and the patch still works just as intended. Had you read the instructions you would have known that you also have to download the Ultimate ASI Loader at: https://github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader/releases

PS: nothing to do with this mod, but if your game randomly freezes every few seconds, then add this to your Hosts file:
203.132.26.155 127.0.0.1
