    Eh too bad Texmod is outdated. Some say it will work with Direct x 10 games as well but from the comments seems not to be the case.

      I am currently working on a version using AnvilToolkit so that it modifies the games files instead, hopefully that will work better and be more performant and less restrictive.. its just taking a while to do so.

    hey a few questions about how this mod works?

    the readme says to select the file and then hit run. do i need to run all 4 files? do i need to select one specific file to get everything? does each file do something different?
    also, do i need to do this every time i start the game? or do i only need to do it once and itll persist?

    edit: NEVER MIND using this mod brings my framerate down to 3. its likely some funky combination of how texmod caches textures and the way im playing on an igpu with limited bandwidth, but the result is that as soon as i look at anything containing people the game becomes unplayable
    edit: its definitely not the egpu because... thats not currently working correctly. i have no idea whats causing it, i just know i cant play like this

      Hello, yes the Texmod version is REALLY broken and barely works even on my Dedicated GPU. I'm currently in the process of changing it over using AnvilToolkit so that it doesn't inject it into the game, replacing the games actual texture files as a permanent solution.
      It's taking alot longer than anticipated as there are ALOT of duplicate files that use the same texture, so its a case of finding them all and replacing them with my custom ones. Which having the time to do outside of being a parent and being in full time work is proving to be difficult.

      I will be updating the pictures soon, i'm still currently in the process of changing it over using AnvilToolkit so that it doesn't inject it into the game but rather replaces the games actual texture files as a permanent solution. How is your progress with Anvit Toolkit, are you still working on this?

      Sorry, i've only just seen this message, but yeah progress is going okay. I've currently been actively going through every single image file and offloading each one to a seperate folder (leaving me with dozens of duplicates), So i'm manually having to go through and actively delete all the duplicates so its just the base files needed.. It's taking me a long time to do but i'm slowly getting there. AnvilToolkit leaves ALOT to be desired but i've had this mod going for years and it would be a waste of time and effort to not put a finished product out there;
      Hopefully this year, i'll have the mod in a form where its actually running natively instead of cheap workarounds.

    just me, texmod, does it take forever to load? and when I press several times the program freezes... has anyone had the same problem??
    and then once I have finished the procedures, can I open the game normally or do I have to open it every time from texmod??

      Yes, Texmod is VERY outdated. At the moment i am using AnvilToolkit to make a mod using the same textures, but i've had to manually go through every single image file and offload each one to a seperate folder (leaving me with dozens of duplicates), So i'm manually having to go through and actively delete all the duplicates so its just the base files needed.. It's taking me a long time to do so outside of being a fulltime parent and also working a fulltime job alongside this so my freetime is very limited. But hopefully this year, i'll have the mod in a form where its actually running natively instead of cheap workarounds.

      Everybody should know this when there isn't a description on the mod page, always check for text files included with the zip file
