This mod now works on Steam Deck using an updated forked Mod Engine 2 by Cloudef: https://github.com/Cloudef/ModEngine2/releases/tag/2.1.0.0-proton-v1 And updated Lazy Loader: https://modslab.net/en/armored_core_vi_fires_of_rubicon/mods/ReAaefZ9fY/
This was my setup testing a few mods including this one: https://github.com/Cloudef/ModEngine2/issues/19
Thank you so much, this mod works perfectly on english. But would there be a way to tweak this mod to work in different languages? I have confirmed that the text size increase mod does not work on Korean.
This mod is very helpful since my eyes get tired easily.
Any chance you can make a mod that will allow us to choose button prompts or at least force the game to show PS prompts instead of Xbox buttons? Its so sad that third party controllers like 8BitDo Pro2 make the game show Xbox controls by default.
How can I test this mod? Because I cannot see any difference after applying it. Unless I am doing something wrong. But I tested another mod [Generator Colors] and it worked using latest ModEngine2. But this one, text still small, even after using both large and extra large.
Yes it is there, inside mod folder. I should add that I am on Steam Deck. That is why I used another mod to make sure it is working, and not me messing up ModEngine.
I'm not sure why that's happening. Please try replacing the gfx files with blank notepad files with the same name (create text files and rename them to font.gfx in the 3 folders) If it removes all text from the game (will be replaced with dashes) then you know the mod is doing something, if the text remains then the mod isn't being loaded for some reason.
Did that, and yes, text still there, so the mod is not being loaded. Also tried the [Thomas The Tank Engine Wheelchair Swap] and [Gundam 00 Riser] mods to make sure, and they both did not load. Only the [Generator Colors] mod, which uses "regulation.bin" is loaded and working. I will have to do more research and see why this mod is not loading on the Steam Deck.
The Regulation.bin file sits in the root of the Game folder whereas the other files are inside unpacked folders. So it sounds like modengine isn't loading the files within folders when using Steam Deck setup for some reason.
I used your Elden Ring's Text Size mod before, on the Steam Deck, and it worked beautifully. But my setup there was a combination of Elden Mod Loader and a modified ModEngine2 proton version by Cloudef. So that is probably why
Awesome thank you! The only thing is that it doesnt recognize the PS4 controller anymore without the steam overlay. Is there a comfy way to launch the bat file with the steam overlay active?
