    Is there any way for us to edit the file so that we no longer need 5000 investors? I'd like to lower the difficulty a little :D

      open the asset.html,and search "<GUID>2023071288</GUID>"

      there is a line code Below not far from  it like this:“<CounterAmount>5000</CounterAmount>”

      you can change the number 5000 to 3000 or lower

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------

      You can use the same way to search"<GUID>2023071287</GUID>"

      here is the difference between those two GUID:

      2023071288:define when the Currency factory unlock(now is 5000 investors)
      2023071287:define when the Currency factory unhide(now is 1500 investors )

      so you can change each “<CounterAmount> Below those 2 GUIDS:

      LIKE this
      2023071288:<CounterAmount>5000</CounterAmount> ---->  <CounterAmount>2000</CounterAmount>
      2023071287:<CounterAmount>1500</CounterAmount> ---->  <CounterAmount>1</CounterAmount>

      or any number you want

      if the Trigger is not trigged,this change will take effect immediatly,but if the Trigger is already trigged you must start a new save  to take effect

    Doens't work for me unfortunately. I dont find any silver mines in the arctic or the new world. They just dont appear anywhere. Without Silver, I am stuck.

      you need open a new save in sandbox mode

    Eu não consigo usar esse mod. Não aparece a fábrica pra fazer o Silver Lingot. Eu preciso do ultimo passe do jogo? 
    Vi nas imagens, que a fábrica de Silver Lingot, é na aba do "Artista", artista é uma nova classe de trabalhadores que veio no ultimo passe. Então pra quem só tem até o passe 3, não é possível?

      You were given a translation, but all the symbols are displayed as question marks, I opened your file and compared it with what you were given. Yours has a different encoding, which is why all the symbols are unreadable.

    I love the idea of this mod immensely and i will absolutely use this in my play through

    But is it save game compatible? Otherwise, i will need a new save

      no need a new save,you can use this any time

      and if you delete  this mod some day ,your current save will not be broken

      just the silver mines change back to iron mines in new world  ,and back to gold mines in Arctic

      all right! nice!


      however, i'm also using https://www.nexusmods.com/anno1800/mods/422?tab=files which allows me to change mines. this works except that when i load my save, some mine slots have been changed back to what they first were.

      whats causing this?

      this mod supports that mod you posted.

      you can change  silver mines into any mines you want in New World,and change  any mines into silver mines too if you use that mod both

      but just like you  said, when you reload the game ,all your silver mines change will be reset ,just like other mines

      and if you delete this mod someday ,all your silver mines change back into iron mines

      well... yes... but that mines revert only happens when your mod is active :(

      maybe you can try a few more times ,Whether this mod is active or not, some certain mines will be revert  anyway

      this mod only change the name and icon of the iron mines,so no matter what happened to the iron mines before the mod was activated, the same situation happened to the silver mines after the mod activated too

      Well, so I did a test: every time that I reload the game, the deposit reverts, even though the mine building stays the same.

      To describe it in detail:

      (before mod active) island has one iron deposit
      (activate your mod) iron deposit becomes silver deposit
      change the silver mine slot to gold deposit through the "change mine slot"-mod and build a gold mine

      reload the game: silver deposit with a gold mine build on it

      (this also happens when changing into a bauxite deposit or change another deposit into silver deposit)

      your situation:
      1,activate my mod
      2,change the 【silver deposit】 to 【gold deposit】 through the "change mine slot"-mod
      3,build a 【gold mine】 and reload the game
      4,final result:【silver deposit】 with a 【gold mine】 build on it

      if this happened ,it must means that:
      1,not activate my mod
      2,change the same island ,the same deposit【iron deposit】 to 【gold deposit】 through the "change mine slot"-mod
      3,build a 【gold mine】 and reload the game
      4,final result:【iron deposit】 with a 【gold mine】 build on it
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

      no matter what happened to the 【silver mine】 if the mod was activated, the same situation must happened to the 【iron mine】 if the mod was not activated

      activate my mod:       silver mine revert  
      not activate my mod:iron mine  revert  

      so, whether this mod is active or not, some certain mines will be revert  anyway

    Hello mate nice mod
    Actually i've notice something wierd. It replace ALL mines of the artic (zinc,copper,iron) not only the gold mines !
    Not that it bothers me i have enought of these resourses but i wanted to inform you

      In  original game,There is only one mineral in  Arctic  ,it is gold mineral 

      mabe you have another mod affecting Arctic minerals

    Is there a way to get this without editing vanilla assets? Like the mines/specialists?

    I adore the idea, having a new item that is exclusively used as trade item for docklands is awesome. And to use the some of the silver assets from the scenario is very neat as well.

      need invest point first ,then research it out ,just like bruno 。

      the two new items have the same items pools as bruno ,how you find  bruno  , find  the two items same way

    Going to try this. Currency over 100 million is otherwise utterly useless. You can research anything you want for free. You can buy any item for hardly anything. Finally a use! lol

      Looking good so far after getting into the New World and mining silver and gold. No problems. I see someone mentioned mines reverting, but mine have not. They're still silver and gold.

    Mod looks really nice, but does the mod replace the iron/gold mines permanently or does it only offer the option to change it via scholars? the mod description wasn't very clear on that. And if it isn't, would you consider allowing for the currency system to not swap the mines and leave the option to the player?

      yes,I changed my expression to a clearer one in the text Introduction

      it is a permanently change

      this mod depend on the silver product chain ,is is a basic foundation ,so i must ensure that there are some default silver mines exist.
