      hey!
I loaded up a game righ after reading your post, but all seems to be working as expected on my end. All deposits are still 1x1 bushes and there is no spinning icon.

maybe try disabling the mod, loading up the game, exiting, reactivating it and then checking it out again.

All right, I'll give it a shot =) At any rate, thank you for keeping an eye on this and your readyness to help!

Revisiting Anno 1800 one year later after getting fed up with Cities Skylines 2, and I confirm it still works. Belated thanks, Hackner!

    • actually one can simply toggle these spinning icons off altogether in the Options | Gameplay settings.
    • since early days in Spice it Up, covers are provided for Oil and Clay deposits
    • another Mod exists already, which allows one to move Clay and Oil deposits to another location on island, too.

      • You don't even need to go all the way to the settings menu, as there is a hotkey (default is L) to turn them ALL off, very useful. But I don't ever need to see the mineral deposits, those are entirely useless while most other infolayers are changing dynamically, like being able to upgrade building, factories being paused or with full stocks, I don't want those hidden most of the time.
      • with covers (rather than the 1x1 shrubbery tile) you are missing out on some nice amount of free tiles to build crop fields or residences on. The cover options are also very limited, either some residence or a warehouse.
      • I don't like how cheaty it feels to be able to move them freely like that. I rather leave that job to the research institute.

Really very good mod. Why didn't someone come up with it sooner?
