Makes the game considerably more pleasant to look at with little effort by reducing visual clutter that I personally deem completely irrelevant.

hide away the and out of place, immersion breaking, useless, spinning mineral deposit modern looking icons above the mines, clay deposits and oil fields. After you learn what they mean, it's excessively redundant. When it comes to mountain deposits, they are a missed opportunity since you can't tell what specific type of ore it actually is. It is also useless as you can/should, use the button above your minimap to center your view on the specified type of resource. The are 2 versions of the mod, a more advanced one transforms the clay deposit (a 5x5 grid blocker, which is ugly when in the middle of city blocks) and the oil fields (3x3 grid blocker, less offensive but still ugly) into a 1x1 shrubbery. These still function the same while being less ugly and also occupying less space. you can build on the new space aroudn the deposit and even construct the clay pit and oil pump on top, overlapping buildings place before them.
I based my mod off of this one: https://www.nexusmods.com/anno1800/mods/404?tab=posts
There is a side effect I haven't managed yet to negate. the clay collecting pit has grass growing on it. kinda looks cute though...
