About this mod

The Oil Tanker has been Militarized/Weaponized with a Mortar Cannon.

Permissions and credits
The Oil Tanker has been given a single Military Item Socket. Now as a hybrid military/trade vessel. Although you cannot send it to a trader to buy military Items, as the buy options are not available to Tankers, nor can you drag and drop military items from another ship to a Tanker.

Instead, all Oil Tankers you build at shipyard will come with a a Legendary Mullivann's Mortar Cannon installed and ready to use. All older Tankers will also get the new Socket, but not the Mortar. So its pointless for those older Tankers as there's no other way to fill that empty Socket with an Item. Best to just sell them.

The Tanker has also had its hitpoints upped X3 stronger, its speed and acceleration upped X3 and its self repair upped quite a bit. Should now have better chance  of surviving the inevitable gauntlets of death they have to run passing by enemy harbors.

The Mullivan's Mortar likewise has been upped, the shells are devastating 50,000 damage, and the cooldown time between shots virtually erased, so fire off next volley almost immediately. Yeah, all OP without a doubt, but the Mortars would be pointless on a Tanker in default state, the Tanker would be long sunk if waiting the four minutes to fire off the next volley. (Its upped hitpoints aren't exactly the stuff of god mode.) Also the Oil Tankers have waited a long time for their revenge, so of course it's going to have to be devastating to any enemy who still thinks they're easy prey.

As Socket Mortars are not used autonomously by ships, you'll still have to keep an ear and an eye out for the notification that "one of your ships is under attack!" Then jump to the Tanker and take command of that Mortar cannon. If Tanker survives the battle, then don't forget to command Tanker to continue with its deliveries, as taking time out to wonderfully obliterate your enemies will put its trade route on pause.

Also Build time at shipyard has been reduced to almost instant. And if you do have other mods that alter the cargo amounts of tankers, or other ship editing mods for influence points, whatever mods such as these, then it's best they come later in the load order. Rename this mod folder accordingly to make it load before those types of mods.

Build ingredients have also been altered. More steel beams and steam engines required to reflect the improved hull and speed, and tallow, saltpeter and dynamite to reflect its new weaponized firing capabilities.
