Maybe a stupid question but what is the difference between these both mods? Both became updated at same time, one is GU16 ready - and the other? Which one do we need?
It appears that, while it doesn't "break" per se, this mod doesn't work with the construction UI overhaul from Game Update 16. The street trees don't show up in any construction tab (that or I'm super blind and couldn't find them in which case I'll happily take directions ).
Now, there's definitely a better way of doing it, but I know next to nothing about modding Anno (sorry) so this is the best I got as a temporary fix until this gets updated: * Obligatory reminder to back up your mod files * Open this mod's data/config/export/main/asset/assets.xml (basic Notepad text editor works fine for this) * Find the code line <ConstructionCategory> * Copy all the building IDs (they should each should look like <Item> <Building>1339473001</Building> </Item>
etc.) * Install the latest version of the mod Enclosed Greenery and Tree - Adjusted to New World (which I recommend for beauty builders anyway) * Open that mod's data/config/export/main/asset/assets.xml * Find the code block at the top of the file, starting with <ModOp Type="addNextSibling" GUID="502399" * At the bottom of the building list in this code block, BEFORE the code line </ModOp> ,paste the copied building IDs from the Street Tree's assets.xml * The code block should now look like this (obviously use the other building IDs in place of the "..."s) :
It's a bit of a haphazard solution (I take no responsibility yadda yadda) but it works, the street trees show up in the Beautification/Cosmetic/Pedestrian Zone tab. Both this and the "Enclosed Greenery and Tree" mod need to be activated.
Hopefully this gets updated soon so no hack jobs such as this will be needed anymore xD.
Updated to GU16. Thanks Jakob, Hier0nimus, Hackner, and shane868 for updating these mods due to my busy schedule, and thanks to all for your patience! This update includes new translations as well.
Thank you for updating your mods! So excited! Thank you to all who helped you! I have been waiting to start a new game until I could use your wonderful mods.
Hello, i would like to ask you can you make trees which grows on grasss tiles with bright green decals ? Anno 1800 at last made option to use bright green decals, as that dark green is too saturated and ugly. Old nature ornaments mod added that long time ago. I think that you awesome mod would be pure perfection if zou add bright decals. I personally use all your trees with paved variants, but cant incorporate grassy ones.
Which mod did you use making the investor residences or the hospital look mediterrean? And also: Thank you very much for this mod, I was seaching for such a mod for feeled decades!
