   Not sure if you still check this but do you have any tips I would appreciate it,  I followed your instructions and veteran was still locked.

      Sorry for the late reply. I honestly don't remember to check these things. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for it. This is based on the Steam version of the game, so if you're using the GOG version, it might not be compatible, but that's just a guess. If you are using the Steam version then I don't know why it seems to work for others but not for you. If you're using a pirated version of the game that's definitely something I can't help with.

      is there a reason to get the gog version over steam?
