In several versions, I have made the world darker and more atmospheric. The architecture and the landscapes seem much more sublime and threatening. It’s more exciting to feel yourself step by step in the dark rather than see what’s coming.
The graphics are particularly effective in the halls and vaults. The darker versions are suitable for Alien Harcore fans and greatly increase the level of difficulty.
Short: It is darker, more contrast, less bright colors, image noise (optionally without).
The range of vision is sufficient and enemies should still be clearly visible from a distance.
