while the mod is on, does the Indirect lighting option becomes gray out ?
it looks pretty good edit , with the latest build of the game, indirect defuse light doesnt work, which is "m_eRTIndirectDiffuseQuality" the reflections work though
Thank you! With this mod, (ultra RT) I can run 140 FPS with my TUF 4080 Super at 4k DLSS quality, frame gen on, max settings. With path tracing I can only do 76 FPS. Much prefer this smoothness with some RT
Seems like the RT reflections are much less noisy after the latest patch. The patch notes mention PS5 Pro specifically, but seems like it carries over to PC too.
RT in alan wake 2 forces textures to become blurry even in lowest settings and I need to restart to make it back to normal. Will this mod yeild better results ? I know my card is low in VRAm but I really want those better reflections.
This is caused by you running out of video memory and the game's texture streaming system is trying to cope with lowering the resolution of the textures and mipmaps etc. RT uses way more V-mem than rasterization rendering and for example on 6gig and lower cards were showing problems in texture streaming already in Control with RT on. AW2 pushes the envelope to Crysis levels of technical fidelity, and uses a heck of a lot more memory. If this mod will be able to lower the memory requirement AW2 uses for RT, by employing a less robust one (Control) then it is possible you could see less blurry textures with this mod but don't expect miracles. The surest way to avoid blurry textures is using less memory by lowering the rendering resolution.
Does this version work with the DLC and new DLCs of the game? If not, will there be a new patch for it? and one more question, Is it fully compatible with DLSS and RR?
