The mod enables a much lighter version of ray tracing compared to the one present in the game, saving performance (this means you don't need to enable ray tracing in the game's settings, as these are two different implementations of the technology and enabling ray tracing in the game will immediately disable the modified RT). The RT that the mod activates is also used by Remedi in the PS5 Pro version of the game, and compared to what is used on the PC by default, this RT is noisier and slightly less accurate.
Mod has two versions:
Control RT Normal includes rt reflections and transpearent reflections ~20% performance cost comparet to raster ~40% performance save compared to full path tracing
Control RT Ultra includes rt reflections, rt global illumination, rt debris and transpearent reflections ~35% performance cost comparet to raster ~25% performance save compared to full path tracing
instalation:
download and unzip the file
сhoose a version and copy files in C:\Users\USER_NAME\AppData\Local\
You can also manually enable the TAA anti-aliasing that Remedy used in Control if you don't like FSR or DLSS for some reason, by changing the value of the line “m_eSSAAMethod” to 1.
The lines I modified in the ini file: "m_eRTReflectionQuality" "m_eRTTransparentQuality" "m_eRTIndirectDiffuseQuality" "m_eRTDebrisQuality"
