Can confirm that it works on 1.0.16. At least for the one scene that I had a save file for. But if that works I'm assuming the rest do too. I have my Horror Flash Visual and Audio Intensity on Normal, but Audio Intensity on Low also seems to work.
console loading after putting d3d12.dll into the game directory, it is mod loading. I can see the console but after a few seconds, the game closed. thanks for helping me.
For me windows loads version.dll from system32 folder first instead the local file in the alan wake folder. Renaming it to d3d12.dll worked (for ref: github.com/ThirteenAG/Ultimate-ASI-Loader).
This game clearly took a lot of inspiration from the re remakes. Such a shame they didn't take any inspiration from how those games scared the player and instead went with the cheapest most annoying jumpscares possible. Literally just a loud noise and a disturbing image flashing on screen, I guess they took inspiration from Gmod horror maps. Many thanks

The low setting that was introduced utilizes different files, so just keep the option on Normal if you want to use the mod.
