ur mod is extremely close to the one mod i need this game to have in order to be playable for me (I tried it on a friend's PC & hated it); revert the tome changes from 3 i can't stand playing this game when taking a tome gives you every spell in the tome, including summoning spells that make the racial units i want to be using outdated. and SO many tomes are just plastered with "you get a new unit that has nothing to do with your faction but is better!" spells. esp when i really only want 1 or 2 spells out of any given tome anyway, reading your mod description made me realize the methodology you used in this mod would be usable to make a copy of every tome for every spell inside of it, remove all but 1 spell from each of those copies, and then make the original spell books not unlock the spells but unlock their individual spellbooks. (& idk if this is possible but leave in an invisible unchanged copy of each spellbook that the AI uses but the human player has no access to)
this seems like it should be simple enough using your code but i cant even figure out how to get the 1 tiny file in ur mod to open. internet says "use a text editor!" but it opens to wingdings *shrug*
sorry too much work.. but u can try to do it.. just open in editor every tier 3 tome and add to each "Forbidden player property" tomes that will restrict it.

But tell me - do the restrictions apply to magic books only from the original, or to books from DLC and mods too?
