Is there any chance to make this skin work also for slot8? Untill now literally no CFA-44 skin mod has the option to replace the Butterfly Master one...
I had asked Rythus if I could have made the YF-30 Chronos for the CFA-44 and the VF-25F Messiah for the XFA-27 but it seems you have beat me to the punch. Still just gonna give a heads up that I'm already working on my own Chronos and Messiah skins for the same planes since I had made a Macross pack before and plan to complete it.
Just a heads up, not sure if Wing based mostly the concept on the ACAH skin showcased and it turned out famous in a lot of Macross fanpages, but i clearly notice some differences from you skin, mostly at the bottom part begin more simple, i hope you won't get such issues if Strike decides to upload his YF-30 skin version, which is mostly based on the ACAH concept i did before, and also suggested some differences like the OG color variations of Chronos to give a difference, i wanted to reply at first, but the post tab did became confuse at some point, if i remember well, it didn't showcased when it first released.
I based this skin solely on the source material since I didn’t know ACAH had Macross colab. If you guys want to upload your own skin please feel free to, it’s not like I have monopoly in these kind of skins.
Sorry for late reply, in fact unfortunately i through Nexus would notify me about the replies, but it didn't, and i checked the settings, and only the stuff i upload is available for getting notifications, in fact aside of tracking, it sucks, but yeah, the CFA-44 Chronos from Strike did released, including the color variations of the OG game, the skin itself got a bit of differences too seeing it needed some improvements, but still, is 100% based on the concept i worked, some confusion occured due in fact, an ACAH collab with Macross occured, but they only focused on the VF-1 skins for the F-14D, the CFA-44 Chronos in question is mostly a work made from scratch, aside of the VF-1EX skins from Delta i also did, but won't blame you of not knowing the existance of a skin like that, due by far i did only promoted in Twitter at best. if you may ask about why Strike took the permission from me and made those instead of myself.............well, in fact i suffered really personal issues related to AC community, won't enter in such details, but a key point is it involved Macross to a extent, so as a countermeasure to both the sides, i started to avoid doing Macross content for AC7, seeing the issues i got, but the hole goes a bit deeper........but will stop telling from now.
Pretty sure there's some exchange of designs between Kawamori & Project ACES when they collabed on the ASF-X. It's almost as if Ace Combat gets that plane, while Kawamori can repurpose the Nosferatu into what we know today as the YF-30. (think)
I mean seriously, even its main weapon is the same; which is a box of missiles stored within the body. Previous to the YF-30, almost every Macross valk need some external storage or weapon pack for the missiles.
