If I hope to use the UAV compatible version, shall I install the basic loadout and the UAV loadout too? Or just install the UAV loadout , and delete the old basic loadout file?
As of 1.1 update, there are now compatibility files and options to have the Modular Railgun option with the Malebolge loadout mod.
Ensure the "Loadout & EML config" file from this mod has higher priority than the Malebolge mod, whether it's for the UAV-45 loadout or Basic loadout (otherwise it will use Malebolge mod's loadout)
However, I wouldn't be the one to do it. True PW Railgun (in the original game) has more to it than piercing - damaging trail that remains for a few seconds, and charge up time (in addition to slower travel time than EML and big damage able to oneshot airships). The author themselves, I believe, has interest in making the RG faithful to the original, but the method to implement it hasn't been engineered yet.
The description mentions that none of the alternate EML types are affected by EML parts, but are there any weapon parts that do upgrade them? For example, the homing versions being buffed by missile parts, or the explosive one being buffed by RKT parts.
From my testing, no unfortunately. The homing, airburst, and piercing variants - those that are based on missile weapons - aren't affected by special missile load count part so it would be logical to think they wouldn't be affected by any special missile parts. Explosive variant is based on a weapon class not used by player in base game - not affected by any parts.
Can the homing bullet destroy a F-22/YF-23/SU-57(3 MSL can kill) by one shot? And is this mod compatible with the ADMM improved homing and reload mod by TTFH?
Yes, the homing EML can oneshot enemies that normally take 3 MSLs to kill. Base damage of Homing EML is the same as base EML (140)
I've checked the ADMM improved homing & reload mod you mentioned. It modifies the ADMM itself (and ammo in data table) instead of the CFA-44 (as in, it does not swap CFA's ADMM for an improved version - it directly improves the ADMM itself) so yes the two mods are compatible.
It is strange that the railgun at the bottom is not another Purgatorio, since the bottom is also the location of the 3rd ADMM launcher. Also, is this supposed to work with the UAV-45 mod?
The ADMM pod at the bottom is noticeably longer than the top two pods, so I saw it as an opportunity for a different EML unit. (It is also easier on making the Sp Weapon model & animation because rotating the model isn't needed)
Also, this mod isn't (or, hasn't been made) compatible with UAV-45 mods, or other CFA-44 loadout mods. Might change in the future.
