I received a bug report today, it's unintentional, must have put the wrong material for the canopy glass By the way, can you check if it's also the case on the GR.4?
Never thought I'd say the day where the F3 got to appear in an HD state. Brings a smile to my face.
If I could possibly offer a suggestion in terms of the loadout? Rather than the LAAM (Meteor), I would perhaps suggest the SAAM (Sparrow) to stand in for the Skyflash missile that defined most of the F3's service life and is more in-line with its general interceptor capabilities. It wasn't even modified enough to fully utilise AMRAAM properly. Those massive missile fins were why the hardpoints had to be staggered in the first place.
Also rather than the MSTM, I might suggest LAGM (AGM-88 HARM) on belly pylons the way the German ECR's do. Whilst the F3 never carried HARMs, 12 were modified in the 2000s to carry ALARMs to perform the SEAD role in later years, unofficially called the EF3.
Not a demand of course, just a suggestion. I do think this wouldn't just be a bit more accurate, but perhaps more balanced in-game too.
Thank you for the suggestion, I'll consider it I kind of wanted the 3rd weapon slot to utilize the wing pylons because it'd be the only one to do so, but it's not an issue
It's understandable. The Tornado doesn't make that easy, especially the ADV, since those pylons were pretty much exclusively used for drop tanks. Even the F3's that were upgraded for SEAD didn't wire the wing pylons for them, so you either see drop tanks on them or clean. I'm not sure they even could carry air to air missiles on them tbh. Its one of those planes that just looks kind of naked without drop tanks. =p Same for the GR1/4 when it doesn't have the drop tanks and Countermeasure pods on the outer wing pylons.
Appreciate the consideration at least, can't ask for anything more than that!
That reminds me, I had completely forgotten about the possibility of using droptanks Honestly I'm kinda hesitant on trying to implement them again, cause every time I tried I messed up the aircraft pawn beyond any repair, but this time I actually wanna do it So, expect the LAGM and droptank update in the near future, hopefully
One other very little thing I've noticed, if you're still planning on going back to these at all, is that the leading edge slats animation is linked to pulling g, like it is for aircraft in the game like the F-16, Typhoon etc. As an older swing-wing type, it would be probably be better, if possible, to reference how the F-14 is already doing it, where the slats only deploy at slow speeds. I noticed something looking a bit odd with the Tonka, and it was the slats fully deploying when the wings were swept back! Obviously that's a super nitpick and I only mention it because the AC7 Tomcat already avoids slat deployment when the wings sweep.
So not a biggie at all, but something for consideration if there will be any more future updates!
Loving this variant of the Tornado thus far, would like to see the cockpit edited where we don't see the GR.4 outer cockpit details to the right. Glad you are fixing those reported issues by the way, M4rkoz
Now if we can just get (for the GR.4 as well) wing vapor, outer cockpit droplets instead of what we have now, and folding wings when in cockpit view mode, then we are golden!
Really nice seeing Tornado variations getting to AC7, don't rush it though. Looks like the pilot and navigator are sitting in the wrong positions, going by the screenshots...
Minor note - the F3/ADV also has reshaped wing glove/LERX bits; they extend a bit closer to the front of the intakes. Not trying to be nitpicky though, great work!

By the way, the canopy disappears, is this a bug?

Vapor wings when?
