��TGTP - GBU-57 Tactical Bunker Buster Bomb



A weapon mod that enables GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP) bomb to be used as a standard Special Weapon (SPW).





SUMMARY



TGTP is a Special Weapon (SPW) that is only available in the 13th mission of the game, Bunker Buster. Taking the form of an enormous GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP), it's dropped from the allied B-2A bomber to destroy the enemy IRBM silos, with a terminal guidance by the player to home into the target. It has only one valid target, the IRBM silo itself, and will not lock against other ground targets. Additionally, no player aircraft has this "Special SPW", since the bomb weighs at staggering 30,000 lb (14,000 kg), and only heavy strategic bombers can mount such weapon.





Extensive modifications to the F-15E Strike Eagle will increase its maximum payload to 30,000 lb, bringing it up to standards of its future variant, the F-15EX Strike Eagle II. This will also allow the aircraft to carry this deep penetration bomb under its fuselage. The standard issue multi-purpose Airborne Tactical Laser System (TLS) will be replaced in the process. With this weapon configuration, the F-15E will be re-designated as F-15EB, changing its role from multirole strike fighter to heavy tactical bomber. An autonomous weapon guidance capability for the aircraft will be assisted by AN/AAQ-33 Targeting Pod (TGTP), providing positive identification, automatic tracking and laser designation for the guided bomb unit.

" BLU-127 warhead



BLU-127 warhead has improved penetration and lethality by using a much larger casing with more explosive payload than any other common Guided Penetration Bombs (GPBs). Such warhead is capable of destroying even the most heavily reinforced key enemy units with a direct hit such as battlecruisers, aircraft carriers, and AEGIS buildings.



" Laser sensor - Guided up to 5 km



F-15E's Targeting Pod allows autonomous target tracking for MOP by taking account of the bomb's weight, freefall acceleration, and distance against target by up to 5 km with 89% hit accuracy. Upon launch, the bomb will home itself toward a locked enemy target based on the data received from TGTP.



" Weight/Explosive - 13,600/2,400 kg



MOP, to this day, remains the world's heaviest non-nuclear bomb. Weighing 13,600 kg, its deployment is restricted to only the heaviest strategic bombers in the arsenal, until the highly modified F-15EB variant appeared. Considerable weight of the weapon must be taken into account when dropping the SPW against enemy surface combatants.

INSTALLATION GUIDE



1. Extract the archived file

2. Select one of the three available versions above

3. Navigate to your Ace Combat 7 installation folder

4. Find "~mods" folder under ACE COMBAT 7 > Game > Content > Paks (create the folder if it doesn't exist)

5. Move the .pak mod file into the ~mods folder

6. Drop the largest bomb on earth against a single T-90 battle tank
