Is there actually a pak file to revert the direct projectile AA changes like it says in the patch notes? Even on easy (20% aa dmg), there's such an insane amount of bullets that i eat s#*! live in 4k within seconds, but i want to try the AI stats and parameters. Update: I've completed normal diff with the recommended mod settings and every module, and I'm now doing a campaign on ace. After changing my mindset and approach (pun intended), i've adapted to the new threat and no longer instantly die to AA/CIWS. Still curious about the optional pak file mentioned though.
I have a bunch of questions though. Like what do the SPW paks do? Why is the point gain so massively increased? Should i just read all the patchnotes to learn every change in detail, I'm interested in the details of this mod lol.
the spw paks alter your special weapon to make them stronger and more different than the others. for example LAAMs now have idk what range as soon as a target pops up you can lock it and it can multilock so it can fire at many different targets at once (depends on how many pilons you have, in fact the f22's 8AAM now is a 12AAM its so funny but not as funny as the CFA-44's ADMM that now has 36 locks :3 also all multilock weapons with the SPW file dont lock multiple times on a single target. other than those quirks all stats increase. also no you cant have the aa shot peas like in vanilla if u want the op gun the aa has it too
i love the mod but the difficulty changes in an uneven way. to make boss missions like mission 20 or 18 hard you gotta make missions with lots of enemies like missions 6 or special mission 1 almost impossible
I really love this mod. Using it while doing machine gun only run for medal is become much easier. But I need to remove the raycast otherwise it would be impossible to down the arsenal bird. But using raycast for other missions is fine, tho
