As you can see it has been some time, I am now here to angrily and annoyingly say that... I'VE RESET MY AC7 SAVE AND COMPLETED THE CAMPAIN TWICE MORE AND MY SKINS ARE STILL LOCKED, and I don't have the mod installed... :C anyone have any Idea of how to fix this without resetting my AC7 save again.
So guess what It’s me again Ya boi and uuuuh this mod just randomly came to mind to now I am commenting again so does anyone have a bug fix or if not the code to the mod cuz I was theorising why this bug exists and how to fix it, if you have the code can you maybe run a check to see if the player has or has not finished campaign mode yet then activate or deactivate the mod and maybe this will fix it but IDK cuz I have no modding experience but maybe you could give it a try.
Hello so long story short I reinstalled my game and forgot that the mod was installed and now I am trying to fix the unobtainable skins bug does anyone maybe know how to fix this, if so please tell me if not where is the file that contains all the skin files because maybe if I can delete that and reinstall it it may fix it, can anyone help thanks.
Unfortunately it doesn't work for me, the skins and emblems are still locked and whenever I select them it gives a weird text that says Challenge-uiUnlockValue_Name_MISSION ID ERROR. This might be because I'm stupid or I just did something wrong, these are the only mods I've installed. Hopefully I didn't screw up my game somehow.
Please read the instructions for the mod (located at the bottom of the description for the mod page). You need to fly in a mission for a few seconds before the skins unlock.
Hey sorry for the late reply, I followed your instructions as you said and flew for a few seconds in a mission then quit but the skins and emblems are still locked with the same weird text whenever I select them. I'm thinking this could be a problem on my end and I'll just try again and wipe my current save game to see if it works. Sorry for wasting your time mate, not really familiar with modding.
same problem i try to remove it and lunch the game and quit then put it again in mod file and lunch the game and fly for a few second and quit but its still lock
Hi! just wanna let you know that it works now, had to start a fresh new save and all the skins are unlocked save for the emblems since I haven't finished the campaign yet. Yeah I have all the DLCs too, can't wait for the next one to drop.
I was having the exact same problem, but after I started a new story and cleared the 1st mission, all the skins were unlocked. I have never played multiplayer, but I did clear the campaign mode before. I have also all DLCs.
With such a major bug the file should really include a ReadMe to help avoid issues. I realized it before I started a mission but after I installed the mod and now I’m unsure if my save has been affected.
Update: Uninstalling before starting a mission did not effect my save file and reinstalling after clearing the campaign allowed both skins and emblems mods to work successfully.
I can confirm that this mod does, in fact, work; both skins and emblems. Just tried it and all skins and emblems have been unlocked for every aircraft, including all DLC aircraft. Just start a mission, quit after 2-3 seconds and you're good to go. You will see the [ChallengeUi] error message on some of them, but to fix it just get rid of the mod. Don't worry, they'll still be unlocked in your save game.
Anyone else who got skins from 02 up to 06 permanently locked, after trying to use this mod? and is there any kind of fix to that? removing the mod didn't do anything.
idk why but it doesn't work. emblems are unlocked, but skins are remain unlocked. i tried : delete all save, start a clean new game, remove every other mod, apply mod after i cleared campaign once, fly for sec or two then comeback, tried SP missions, still no luck. and some skins saying 'Challenge-uiUnlockValue_Name_MISSION ID ERROR'. maybe because of latest update or ...idk.

i tried my best to fix this, but i think this is all i can do. is there other things i can try for fix?
I don't know what's wrong, the mod had blocked the first 4 skins on almost every plane except for the DLC ones. I even restarted the game fresh a new by deleting the save file twice. I literally have no more will to live because of this.
