Since this works in 1.0 I wonder if you could look into a similar mod that is client sided related to this: To add custom traits or probably 'custom' buffs that exists in the game, but tricking the game to think it's one of the negative traits so you can add it in without issue?
Basically you overwrite the 'negative' traits and use it as a custom trait effect (for instance clearing Far Garden and getting the 'Moisture Sponge' effect, you can stick that into 'dry skin' negative trait.
It doesn't affect other players even as host if you use mods that changes trait points, so these things are client sided. Though I'm pretty sure once you remove the mod your 'dry skin' trait changes back, or perhaps due to changing it to a buff it persists (or disappear after a period of time since these buff has a timer).
Because imagine adding the permanent 'soup' buff effects from the list there, into the negative traits. This way you don't need to create brand new ones if you modify the custom negative traits to always be persistent.
Also adding, where do you get access to this? I unpacked the pak files but no idea where the stuff on class/job and traits are located.
---so Dumb Question but would using this disable achievements?---
So figured i would just test it myself by getting the fishing achievement worked fine got the achievement and answered my own question only reason im updating my comment is so if anyone else has this question they know that it does not disable achievements
Hey, nice mod. Any chance of a version that JUST removes the forced trait? I'm playing this with a friend and they don't want to have 99 points but just like to remove the forced trait.
