i use the mod on server, and my pc not install this mod, when i connect to server, it show "IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range" , should i how to resolve it
So Im having an issue. I can get this mod to work in SP, but on my server its not. I tried deleting the mod and reinstalling it, but that didnt work. Any ideas?
okay thank you, so if I understand correctly, anything that has to do with looks the other people need to download too for example I want to add a new recipe with a custom icon, they will need the icon too in their UIAtlases folder and if its just changes like adding an existing item to an existing recipe or removing items or recipes then they dont need anything?
oh ok thanks again,yeah I only really play single player too but im trying to get my friend to play and just want to make sure everything works properly. but I still dont get the difference between running a server and sharing a game though, can you explain more if you can please? because when I launch the game from steam and select new game theres an option for server availability with 3 options that I have to choose.(not listed, friends only and public) I usually just have it set to not listed but does that still mean im running a server? just nobody can see it? So if I want my friend to play I would set it to friends only and I would be hosting the server...?
its confusing haha but Im learning and it pretty fun making things and changing settings to my liking
Honestly, any advice I could give you would probably end up being wrong. I'd suggest finding one of the many Discord channels that support 7 Days and asking there. I've found them to be very supportive and helpful.

if the mod is a server mod anyone who plays on the server will have it without the need to install it them selves but if it is not a server side mod then yes all players will need it installed.
