I really love your Polearme mod and it was my favorite "spear weapon" mod for a while as everything worked well and also has really nice textures. But now I've been playing in co-op mode and I've noticed that my character is holding the polearm at the very end of the stick and only with one hand, which makes it look really weird. Is there a slight chance that you will change the position of holding in third person? Thanks for the mod otherwise it's great !
After a quick test in creative I've found two problems;
1: crafting seems to be bugged out, after eating 75 magazines the skill says I can craft lvl 5 but the crafting menu is locked at 1 for all parts
2: after giving myself a lvl 6 handle the stamina reduction is so much that it goes negative and I start gaining stamina when attacking, probably not an intended feature.
Other then that love the idea of a modular pole weapon.
Idea for the future; taser end, shitty reach but acts like the stun baton
Just tested it today since I finally got back from a trip; yeah everything mechanically is fixed about it. The crafting skillbook menu for the polearm is stuck at lvl 5 with max skill but that's just a visual bug so nothing too concerning! great mod would recomend for those that wish to reach out and stab a zed
I really like the idea of better polearms, because that would be the first weapon anyone educated in melee fighting would use, against dumb, but strong dangerous enemies, that you need to keep away from you.
I really would like a spear or pike, purely for melee. The normal attack could stay as it is, with more reach and a bit more damage. But the power attack should be no ranged throw, instead a thrust with the wielders bodyweight behind it, that: - Deals massive damage. - Keeps the target from closing in. - When coupled with enough strenght and/or wearing heavy armour even pushes the target back. - Has a chance to throw it down.
Thank you for this mod! The model, especially with the spear head attached, is nicer to look at than the default steel spear! As another commenter asked, do you have plans to add other attachments like a halberd head or maybe a naginata blade?
Any chance for a Halberd head? its my favorite polearm and also a different approach(more damage,cannot be thrown,more range,maybe get it to act as an axe)
Getting an error with it not loading into the XML file for loot when loading game - loved this mod in A17 was a huge fan any idea where the problem might be
