Having the same mechanic for lead and nitrates would be nice, as it makes little sense to extract them already refined from the ground. I imagine some players may not like the extra hassle though, so having a separate version with this feature could be advisable.
Hi there. I kept getting an error on startup of my dedicated server that there were multiple entries for terrOreIron and that something something would pick the latest one.
After doing a little digging, I changed your blocks.xml file to read:
<configs> <append xpath="/blocks/block[@name='terrOreIron']"> <drop event="Harvest" name="resourceRockSmall" count="14" tag="oreWoodHarvest"/> <!-- You can edit the count="value" --> <drop event="Harvest" name="resourceIronFragment" count="23" tag="oreWoodHarvest"/> <!-- You can edit the count="value" --> </append> </configs>
So just take a quick look at the basics and if you did do them all we take it further: This mod release is for A18 Stable+
Step 1: Unzip the zip file Step 2: Copy the folder called "NG_RawIron_A18" to the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods Be careful not to create a mods folder under \7 Days To Die\7DaysToDie_Data
If you did all the above and still it fails please load up the client/server and when the mod fails to load exit the game/server and send me the logs = 7DaysToDie_Data/output_log.txt :)
It works now. I pretty much did all the stuff you said when I initially installed it but it didnt work. So what I tried now was I downloaded the one with the scrap and raw iron one and placed it on my mods folder and that one worked, so then I tried the raw iron one only and now it somehow works now. Weird. Thanks though.
Might have been the mod-loader for the game. I run a ton of mods on my servers and some of them like literally have a chance to not load or actually load.
Hello sir, thank you for this modlet. Question: does this replace all scrap iron in the game with iron ore? Specifically, if I break down a metal grill, what will I harvest from it?

and now it works fine without an error.
Thank you so much.

This is specifically aimed at mining the raw iron nodes you find in the overworld and underground :)
