    I use some custom code similar to this, based on Anti-Destroy Area by BluemaxDR. All entities have DestroyArea removed, and Breakblocks has been removed from all animals except bears (size thing). Generally play with Zombie Block Damage set to 50% in server settings.

    Used to be a mod that reduced damage by material type (using tags) being attacked. Zombos could punch their way through thin or weak stuff (i.e. Mwood_weak or Mglass), over time through slightly harder stuff (i.e. Mmetal_weak or Mwood_regular), and not at all through harder materials that would obviously pulp both flesh and bone. Made it hella more difficult to kill any zombo wearing a helmet without AP or breaching rounds. Cannot for the life of me recall the name, but wish I could.
