   Weird how this not possible in game since in real life a hunting rifle can be customized into a hunting sniper rifle. Perhaps the dev is not aware of it.

      maybe its due to how animations/item modifiers work internally
      
      like cycling the bolt on the hunting rifle is part of the reload animation and im not sure if the game uses a seperate animation for firing
