I am setting up a new game using a host server, and dont think I have access to that folder. I was wondering if it could be placed in the folder with all the other pois. i.e. data/prefabs/pois.. it looks awsome would hope to play it.
I must say this is an EPIC POI! As someone that does some custom POI's I can't even imagine the hours that you put into this. Thanks for a truly great POI.
Amazing work, the level of detail in the environment is next level, I was also in the process of building a fairground but it's definitely scrapped now, this cannot be beaten!
Hey! Thanks a lot, buddy! But please feel free to create your own fairground! I have my own way of doing things and i guess it's a challenge (for my personal experience), but not a competition.
I mix a lot of things, for example I found it really fun to make food stands, also inspired by Roller Coaster Tycoon. We all have our inspirations. Don't stop following them!
PS: I love sharing because you can see how each person uses blocks in a clever way. For example, I love the Space Invaders sign in your Zap Arcade. With the block outline effect, it's perfect.
I love it. It hits my frames a good bit but not more so than some of the vanilla POIs. There is something so cool about what people can do with the default blocks.
I'm glad you like it! Sorry for the frame rate, I'll try to optimize the number of elements/blocks used. Lighting is also a significant factor, i think.
Like i wrote in the description: Copy all of the 6 files inside the zipped folder into "LocalPrefabs" folder. Folder location: C:\Users\"yourusername"\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\LocalPrefabs
If the folder "LocalPrefabs" don't already exist, you can just create it manually. Also, your "AppData" folder may be hidden. Tips: Select the View tab from files explorer and check "Hidden items".
After that, you just have to generate a new map with random gen selection and start a new game in this map. It's also possible to edit an already generated world and import the POI wherever you want. It's working without config folder and modinfo.xml.
