The flipside to this would be to use the colors of the original map key as they are brighter and offer more contrast, probably more so for those who can't differentiate near same-tone colors as well too.
Yes! Ultimately, what I'd like to do with the mod is make the colour of the biomes configurable and have the map and legend automatically pick up whatever the player has set them to.
However, at this point, the legend was an easy adjustment and was 'good enough' for the first release to resolve the immediate issue. Further adjustments will take a little more time and investigating, but I am keen to do them.
