works great ! to have the placement size reduced . only affects placement . compatible with other mods that affect heat and speed and mods that affect output window size . (3 mods total)
i would recommend to remove any water dew, before running this mod , to avoid unplaced blocks
if you get invisible blocks, place blocks around the area, go edit mode, rotate the area (z+ look around to select area. X to rotate the area.)

Where is the opening? On the 3x3 variant, you only need the center square exposed to sunlight, whereas the 2x2 variant ....?
I'm an underground basebuilder and this impacts the size of hole I must drill in order to use this
