"Say you want to make 9mm Luger Bullets, you would need to make multiple "Pistol Bullet Tips" and sometimes "Pistol Bullet Casings" to make 1 bullet" 1: The bullet is the projectile and nothing else, a single unit of fully assembled ammunition is a cartridge 2: Why would you need multiple pistol bullets and casings to make 1 cartridge? That makes as little sense as most of the changes from A20 to A21
this is the simple version of the mod, your looking for the survival version which you can find here on nexus as well. that version is much more realistic!
i find that even with a large backpack mod this one takes up way too much space for a loot hoarder like me. Is there a future plan for a file with fewer ammo types? Usually I'd love all the variety but in games like 7DTD with the inventory system, it's a pain to manage so many different types. Maybe a short tutorial on how to comment out some of the item types people may not want would work?
Decided to do some math to find what ammunition theoretically is the most gunpowder efficient, the result was that crafting normally(not bulk crafting) .44 Remington Magnum hollow points won at nearly 60 damage per gunpowder, with bulk crafting however, assuming my math is correct, .22LR won with a comical 628.5 damage per gunpowder.
The .45-70 Government lever-action rifle cannot be manufactured, and the blueprint still shows that the blueprint is not unlocked even after all blueprints are unlocked.
I uploaded this to my server and on my own end, however I cannot see any of the new icons for ammo. It shows them there with their count but no icon, one of the other guys who plays on my server had no issue and I have him the file I downloaded. Any idea how to fix?
Edit: with a little troubleshooting we figured it out. I didn't extract the file directly into the mods directory
How do you use a .22 Short/.22 LR weapon with .22 LR ammo? I have a .22 S/LR pipe pistol and around 100 .22 LR, but the icon at the bottom right of the screen shows a .22 Short box. How do I use .22 LR ammo in this weapon?
Does your mod's calibers work with mods that add in new guns? Like if I downloaded Tactical Weapons A20, could I use the conversion kits from your mod to change the calibers of the modded guns from the other mod like I would the vanilla ones?
Nope those guns would need to be patched and patching 1 gun can take a few hours because each caliber conversion is its own weapon in the xml and requires stats, loot tables and recipies

Edit: Gotta lock the ammo for it to fire, but i took no damage. Will test on zombies.
