Hey.  Can this mod be used in A21?  When I load it into prefab editor there are hundreds of unknown blocks and I don’t know how to fix that. Any advice or info to help?

Use the prefab auto-updater if you wanna update any prefab or this one if a new update is out (and I don't update this)

      "Press f1 for console.

      Input -

      prefabupdater loadtable

      Press enter.

      Then type:
      prefabupdater updateblocks

Please note that this may cause issues and/or not fix all missing blocks (due to them being deleted, etc.) so you may have to manually change/remove some blocks.

Credit goes to stallionsden for the command.

Hello.  Do we have permission to use the mall in our own custom maps that will be offered to the community?  Giving credit to the author.  | do not know how to contact the original author.

Yes, the permissions of this are the permissions of the original mod. The only things you can't do is sell access/paywall/sell the files of it, or convert it to other games (which you can't do anyway).

You only need to credit the original author hernanxx.

I'm newbie to the game, just browsing mods 1st time.

I noticed that other prefab-creations so far were told to unpack into ...AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\LocalPrefabs folder. But this would be unpacked into Mods-folder. Why the different folders?

Does the world creator find prefabs from the mods-folder?

Yes, putting it in the mods folder still means it works, and it's cleaner than using the LocalPrefabs folder.

Putting prefabs into your mods folder can cause lag and/or decrease performance. At least for a20 it is better to drop the POI files into your POI folder even though it is a bit messier. Just my 2 cents and experience. Not meaning to step on toes. Thank you for your hard work AdeptusFreemanicus.

Understood, never knew it would cause lag, I will make sure to include that in the description.

Go to world editor (Main Menu>Editing Tools) pick a world (or create one), add the prefab where you want, start a new game then select the world you added the prefab to.

Press Z while in the world editor (After you selected/Generated a world) then press "Dynamic Prefabs" (or something similar) the mall should be called "HNMALL" if I recall correctly, then you can place it where ever you want it.

If you are more of a visual learner you can use this video.

Just curious, did you fit the POI to a Tile, rig it for Wilderness placement, or something else?

Also, IIRC the original creator now works for TFP. I mention it because I wasn't sure if you were looking to make contact with them, or not.

I haven't touched the POI's, I read that the command I used may reset/mess up POI's but I don't know much about the editing tools in 7 Days to die (nor much of the game itself), so yeah. Did anything break?

I already left a comment on the original mod page that I updated the mod, that's all the contact I think of that I care about. If they saw it then cool, if not then I don't mind. is there another reason to contact em?

I don't know if anything broke in your conversion. I suspect you're okay. For my own purposes, I had already converted the POI using the same command. I was mostly curious where you rigged it to land. I'd like to see it land in a Commercial district, but unmodified it is too large for a Tile, so I've got it landing in the Wilderness on my maps, which I don't really like.

As for contacting the creator, I was just curious. I don't know that you have to contact them.

      Thanks for the response.

Can't you use the editing tools and then the world editor to place wherever you want?

Yes, certainly, though that's not how I prefer to operate. I like to let RWG surprise me.

      Good point. I will try to learn how to place it correctly, no promises though (;
