Thanks! Unfortunately, there is a vanilla bug that still needs to be worked out by TFP that's holding up the release of an A21 version. It's a problem with the Tile system and how POI Spawn markers can be tagged. It's something that worked perfectly in A20, but for some reason became broken with A21. This is one of the bugs that is also holding up the release of Compopack...... So keep your fingers crossed that TFP can fix it.
Hmmm.. So, to narrow things down, did you put it in the games mod folder or your appdata folder? And did you close out the game and start it up again before generating a new map?
FYI setting <property name="spawn_trader" value="false"/>In rwgmixer.xml in the swampland township doesn't disable the generation of traders, they will still show up.
There is an experimental boat mod out there. It's a bit wonky, but functional.The jetski can get launched into the air and fly around like a gyro... :)
My limited experience with this has the bathtub as the most stable means of water transport... LOL!
Any map size will do, no - lake and river settings are not related. As noted in the description, this is a city/tile system. So, if you turnd the city spawns off, then you'll not get any Swampland towns.
So, I'm going to ask the same question I asked in the other post.... I can't help anybody with just "it doesn't work." When you run into problems, provide all of the details on what you did, and what happend with the game: did you get any errors, what were they, did literally nothing happen.
First question is, did you unzip the file into your ...AppData > Roaming > 7Days2Die > Mods folder as is instructed in the description??
If so, another thing to try is to completly close out your game, start it up again, and try generate a new world again. The game does a search for any new directories/folders each time it starts up. If you had your game open when you added this mod to the Mod folder, it would not "know" it's there until the game starts up again

The max number of "swamp Cities" this will spawn on any sized map will be just two. If you want to increase the number of swamp-towns, you would need to edit the rwgmixer.xml file located in the mod.
Looks promising. Wetlands biome has been something missing for a long time. Maybe after A21, we'll eventually see some mutant/infected mosquitos and gators added...
Someone did a mod quite a while back (A16 or A17) that had gators in it. I haven't seen any since, so they may have never updated that for the newer versions of the game. :(
