Did it stop working? I tested it when alpha 21 first came out and it worked. I do need to update the listed game version so that it does not throw a warning. I'll look into it.
I tested it about a week ago and i built a mini horde base about 6 blocks above the ground and when the zombies fell they all started beating on the support columns or the stairs. I had to shoot them to get them out of destroy area mode.
After testing this mod, which I would LOVE to work, I found it to seemingly not function as zombies still would enter Destroy Area behavior. After looking at the xml for both your mod and the game, I suspect the syntax around AITask has changed as I do not see AITask-2 in the ZombieTemplateMale that seems to be the root for all other Zombie behavior, and I suspect is what you are trying to modify. I've included images below of current XML and your mod for your confirmation when you have a moment. :)
UPDATE: after checking the new code, I was able to remove the DestroyArea behavior by simply deleting "DestroyArea|" from the ZombieTemplateMale section and this seems to have removed the behavior as expected/hoped for. As I have NEVER modded this game at all, if you could check this and confirm it would be appreciated. :)
Good Lord, thank you for this! I had gone in and manually changed the destroy area values, but each time there's an update it overwrites the configs and you have to do it all over again. Dropped this in the mods folder and BOOM! Problem solved. Thanks again!
Zombies prefer to break valuable loot when they are unable to reach you, and especially strange bears, this is very stupid on the part of the developers. They also learned to avoid booby traps and stakes, and in general, with such intelligence, it’s time for them to conquer Mars and not arrange a wild hunt for the only character from the single player.
