Notice: This mod has been updated to A21.1 The previous version is still available for those running on older alphas. I cannot provide support or updates for older alphas.

I'm sorry I haven't been playing 7DTD at all lately. I have only looked at A20 once with a couple of friends so I haven't had the motivation to update this mod to A20. I suspect that I will need to create a recipe for making SS blocks in A20 since back in A19 I was using another mod to do so and have some doubts that it will be updated simply due to it's size. I'm aware several people would like me to update but I need motivation to play again and then sit down and relearn the new code.

Hi Jesseman1997. Thank you for your mod. today we are now in A21.6. I have been try hard to make a mod allowing unbreakable blocks. Looking for unbreakable I found your mod. All I had to do was replace  Stainless with concrete shapes and it worked. I'm now looking for a way to back down the blocks to remove them. Can I have your permission to upload your mod keeping your name on your mod alongside mine? If not then I will keep the re-edited mod to myself. Thank you.
      Best Regards. Paul.

I don't mind you using this mod with credit. I was inspired to make this mod from other unbreakable block mods, so I'm happy someone was inspired to make a new mod using this one.

I am using your mod, but the only mod I could find that adds stainless back in is FRK Stainless. This mod changes the SS to something that has to be repaired and uses the SS polish in their mod. So it is not actually "unbreakable" anymore. could you please tell which mod you are using, or maybe a couple you suggest? or maybe just add code to add it into you mod?

In A19, I was using Riles Vanilla Plus to add in the SS blocks, however I also made edits to that mod so it would work how I wanted it to. Perhaps I can create another mod just for upgrading Steel blocks to Stainless, but I need some free time first.

well since A19 does not let you upgrade to stainless Steel now this mod is useless unless you add a mod that lets you bring it back

well can you change the block type in the mod to be the steel block then since stainless steel is no long in the game since A17

Take your pick from one of many mods that add stainless back into he upgrade path.

I was actually unaware that you can't upgrade to Stainless Steel at all in Vanilla when I created this mod. I was under the impression it could be done via the iron frame upgrade tree. I am using mods that do make it possible to upgrade to stainless from the wood frame upgrade tree, and would suggest you use one as well.

Ed: never mind, I have lots of mods and am dumb...

I think you'll find you CAN in fact upgrade to stainless, as of A19.6 I'm upgrading mine just fine

      Wood > Wood2 > Cobble > Cement > Cement2 > stainless
      Rebar > cement 2 > stainless

I just checked in my solo game. The above upgrade paths are working just fine today, and AFAIK I have no mods that adjust the block upgrades. To my knowledge,
<blatant lie> my game is running blocks as Vanilla. </blatant lies>

download file -> extract/unzip map (unbreakable stainless) to D:\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Mods.
!!!  I use D: for my steam games, you might have C: (or other)
if you don't have a folder named "Mods" you can just make one ( inside the 7 days to die folder )

I apologize for not including installation instructions in the readme file. I've been using mods for so long that I forgot newbies to modding might not know how to do it. "mynameisnotjj" explained it pretty well though, if you are downloading the mod manually, just extract the .zip and then move it into the "mods" folder in your 7DTD directory. If the mods folder does not already exist, you can add it yourself.

you need to redo your mod you have manage to make every piece of steel invulnerable  , can't destroy something once it's placed now even steel doors

It says in the description. You "upgrade" it to a hay block then destroy it.

Sorry I haven't been on in a little while but yes I explained in several places that Stainless Steel blocks can be removed by upgrading them to a hay block with grass fibers and then destroying the hay block.
