Hey, I am only asking out of curiosity to see if you know what the issue is, I uploaded it to navezgene as like an edited map. (It looks amazing by the way) but only from a distance :( as I get closer it disappears and vanishes but also says that im in woodberry so the map knows its there but it completely dissapears
Hey there, Thanks for your message! I'm really sorry, but I have never tried to use a POI in that way so I am really not sure what the reason could be or what to advise :( Hope you manage to sort it!
It's a POI/Prefab. It gets added into your game with all the other normal houses/shops/warehouses/skyscraper POI's, and it will spawn onto the map when generating a new random gen world.
Hey there, Sure thing! I have temporarily put the A20 version back up onto the 'Files' tab for you to download: https://www.nexusmods.com/7daystodie/mods/1369?tab=files Have fun! Andy.
Hey There! Woodbury overhaul/update is currently in the works and should hopefully be released next week (the first week in 2022). Many thanks for your interest. Andy.
I really want to try this out but i cant get this to work. On regular RWG Maps this doesnt spawn (because of the size as you mentioned), so i downloaded Kingen, since Nitrogen doesnt get updated anymore, to generate a bigger map.
To add custom POIs you need to add them with specific details to the list:
<name>,<x size>,<y size>,<z size>,<y offset>,<rotation to face north>,<allowed biomes>,<allowed townships>,<zones>
Hey there, Thanks for trying out Woodbury. Yes, KingGen is going to be the way forward I feel, it can do amazing things already. The KingGen line that you need is this one: sap_woodbury,180,25,99,-2,3,pine_forest,rural/city/town,any Hope this helps! Andy.
This line of text: <prefab name="sap_woodbury" /> Need's to go in the rwgmixer.xml file under the "prefabList" section. Youll find a long list of other prefab names, and it looks like this: Just search (Ctrl+F) for bombshelter in the file and it should take you right to the place. <prefab_rule name="prefabList"> <prefab name="bombshelter_01"/> <prefab name="bombshelter_md_01"/> <prefab name="carlot_01"/> <prefab name="carlot_02"/>
Then just add the new code line for Woodbury in here, to look like this:
<prefab_rule name="prefabList"> <prefab name="sap_woodbury"/> <prefab name="bombshelter_01"/> <prefab name="bombshelter_md_01"/> <prefab name="carlot_01"/> <prefab name="carlot_02"/> And don't forget to drag and drop the other files into the 7 Days to Die/Data/Prefabs/ folder.
So i put it where you said to put it and didn't work its weird. this is what i put. and im not sure why its putting question marks when i send it to you. <prefab_rule name="prefabList"> ??<prefab name="sap_woodbury" /> <prefab name="bombshelter_01"/> <prefab name="bombshelter_md_01"/> <prefab name="carlot_01"/> <prefab name="carlot_02"/>
That is in the correct spot. Then as long as you have put the other files into: DRIVE:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Data\Prefabs And then generated a new random world (at least an 8k+ map), it will normally generate 2-3 Woodbury's within the new world.

Andy.
Includes new items from A20, improved detailing, and is now quest-able for Clear and Fetch quests.

abandoned_house_02,24,17,25,-1,2,burnt_forest/snow/pine_forest/desert/wasteland,rural/city/town/wilderness,residentialold (Example)
Where do i find the details for the size for example? --> I guess this will be important to more people soon since Kingen is the only choice atm
Thanks for trying out Woodbury.

edit: works fine now and looks great
would fit perfectly for a roleplay server where some people try to defend this town
