these fish need to be an item and not an animal considering how you dont have to take care of them at all, also on a challenge game those fish constantly taking up the available adoption slots up.
Yo no idea if you're still working on this but when several of the species (off the top of my head it was the catfish, bettas, and discus in addition to several others) were viewed by guests in the habitat they're reported to do well in (tropical rainforest) the guests became angry that the fish looked out-of-place in their habitat. After changing the biome to reef, the guests were satisfied. Seems like a bug.
