I added the program but I can only add trading ships to the autotrader...it will not let me add miners (Fedhelm, etc.)...must the ships be Universal cargo carrying ships (Fedhelm is)...traders like the Titurel or the Lyranae seem not to have problems although I can add them only as traders not as miners even when I outfit them with mining URV's (20 of each type).
Are they levels to the traders...as I seem to be able to make anyone a Cluster, Sector or Universe trader?
No mate, you need 10+ of the appropriate drones to mine with a ship as covered in the readme/description So a fedhelm need 10+ surface miers mk1 or mk2 to show the miner option.
EDIT :rereading, I have never seen this issue on any ship. the code for testing miners has worked very well so far. Copuld you be specific as to the ship type and drones equipped for a test my end?
100 K is not enough for many purchases...I've had purchases of 17M (URV's)....I would recommend at least 20M...it seems to get them started after a few minutes of SEARCHING for a trade deal...the universe has many stations to buy from and to keep the game going instead of stopping every time this search is conducted it takes a while...I've had ships stationary for 10-15 minutes before they move toward a station...also you can check what is going on by 4ing the ship's captain and looking at his command list...normally with this mod it says NOTHING but when he finds a trade it changes to another command (like flying, trade with XXX, or dock at xxx).

does 1- 5 star stats of the captain increase profit of trading or mining? or trade manager...
or maybe the trader miner level up in time...?

Stop working. Try to restart from different sectors, looking for trade about 3-4 hours and nothing happens.
