I was wondering. If I use this character pool with War of the Chosen and if I use the WOTC version of Titanfall gear, for instance, will it match automaticaly with the characters?
This is awesome, my only gripe is that there are some grammatical errors and instances of awkward/unclear wording in the biographies. I'd be willing to refine them if the mod author is still around and would be okay with it. Also, I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that... I can edit them from the character pool screen in-game, but are changes made there reflected in the .bin file? Anyway, thanks for the mod, I can't imagine how long it took to make..
Thanks for the mod. Much better than having the vanilla biographies always showing up. Does anyone know if I add this mid playthrough if they will show up or if I need to start a new game?
Import these into your current campaign's character pool and they'll start showing up as reward soldiers / at the black market etc. Assuming you've set the game to use the character pool that is.
Anyone got any idea how to import just the new soldiers into a character pool that's already loaded with a previous version of Unique Soldiers..? I'm a little stumped.
If you go to XCOM 2 you can see a list of all your soldiers, any whom you have not created and/or downloaded will be from this mod. Depending on which mods you have affecting the character pool it can either be a very large or small list. Find the last soldier of "Unique Soldier" for the current version you are using. Remember their name. Now download/place this mod in the correct directory, and launch XCOM 2. Go to the character Pool and click Import Soldiers. Then click Unique Soldiers. You should see a huge list of all soldiers/VIPS, etc added by this mod. Go down to the bottom, and then go up until you see the last soldier that you've written the name down for, after said soldier check everyone else below them and click Import button. (I don't have the game on currently but it will be similar to the instructions I have written down, if you still are unsure I could provide picture with how to only get the new soldiers. Let me know in a comment if you need the help.)
The 1.2 version was just a small update. I accidentally put a Dark VIP as a soldier and rechecked him as only appearing as a Dark VIP. I also fixed a minor grammar error on one of the soldier's biographies, and also added a quote to another soldier's who I missed. Not too big, I do have a small amount of extra soldiers in my current game but I don't only want to release a small batch if I can avoid it x3
In XCOM 2 both the countries are separated. You can have a soldier with either a UK or Scotland flag on their back as the country they are representing. I am well aware that Scotland is in the UK, but for XCOM 2 they are both separate countries that you can choose. Since this is the intended design of the game (UK and Scotland being separated or at least being separate options to choose from) I decided to do it the way I presented in the mod. Hopefully that is okay? :3

well, since i'm here, I as well should endorse your great hard work (I quit editing at 10 soldiers and only added my family and few friends xD )

The UK is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain is (for the moment, at least) Wales, England and Scotland.
