    Hey, nice voice packs!
Will you be doing more? Maybe some from XCOM2, like rest of ME squads?

Thank you. I was late to the game, so I am not done with xcom ew lw yet. I will make more stuff for xcom 2 when i get so far. If by ME you mean mass effect, I love that game. I will probably try making more ME characters when I get to XCOM2. My next upload will maybe be engineer from TF2, or Zoey from l4d.

No, I mean transfer some Voice Packs from XCOM2 to XCOM LW.
My computer cannot start XCOM2, so... yea.. you know.

Still, I'm waiting for some more voice packs, and, hopefully, more female voice packs. I kinda want to replace all German/Italy/Spanish/Russian/French voices to some "extra", mostly because I don't understand that launguages, so I don't feel like I need them.

Also, because there is Shepard voices in XCOM1, I kinda wanted have all of squadmates from ME trilogy in XCOM1, but kinda lack skills to do that.

Anyway, thank you for your hard work and I cannot wait for more voice packs.

Sorry, but it is impossible to transfer xcom 2 voice packs to xcom 1. The game xcom ew lw is not mod friendly, so it has many limit's. One of them is a 5 second rule limit to all voice files. So any xcom2 pack will make the game crash to desktop and ruin the game you were doing. Converting a voice pack from xcom 1 to xcom 2 is the only way to go sadly. Without long war, getting a voice pack to work is ridiculously hard. So we are lucky that mod was made by pro's for us to use mods, and it inspired the xcom developers to make the next game mod friendly.

If you want more voice files for girls I suggest you download the full or lite voice pack I linked in the Description of this mod I made. I suggest having them both. That's the voice from a female Inquisitor in the Dawn of war series. She makes a lot of alien hate lines. And she is a cool angry type girl. All the other voice pack's I linked are also cool, but all male and vary in quality. The second Mec voice pack I linked is a Dreadnought from dawn of war. That voice is awesome.

On this site the Files » XCOM - Enemy Unknown » Audio - SFX and Music folder has some misplaced voice packs too. Biff from jagged alliance. Team fortress 2 Sniper and a fixed English African girl voice. Check them out.

I agree that this game lacks a lot of female voices. When I am done adding the l4d girl voices I will consider adding ME voices, but I doubt I will add many. Making a voice pack is very time consuming. The process is very slow, so I doubt I will have time to make many. Also if you use the two special voices in xcom long war you will get no sound sample in the customisation menu, but you will hear them in the game. They are from the campaign heroines. So you have a little extra girl voices there.

Please tell me which voice for ME you want the most.

I personally have added all the voice packs from this site, and the links I gave in the Description. And They did not replace the voice files I already have. Personally I like to have at least one of every voice language category. Makes me feel like I have a international xcom group even though I understand jack from most of them.

But if you want to get rid of some of them just go into the file I told you to add the mod line in the Description here, and add a ; in front of all the voice files you want to get rid of. So if you want to get rid off, lets say polish. all you have to do is place a ; in front of the texts. Then you are sure the files you want to place there are not overwritten by the voice pack you add. It is that easy.

I recommend going into the files and increasing the solider barracks from 100 to 150 or 200. You can also break the limit by reaching full barracks, and then trade for new soliders in the requests, or making all your blue shift soldiers survive. If you are like me and keep all your soldiers alive that is. As the waiting time from each solider can be critical. I am almost at the end of the game, and have not lost a single solider.

I already have all of voice packs from this site (+ both from WH40k).
You sadden me about transfer voice packs from 2 to 1.

If you will be doing ME voicepacks for XCOM1, that I think Garrus, Liara, Wrex and Legion are the best, of course after Engie and Zoey.

If you can help me find a site with the mass effect voices available for download. I will try to fix them when I can. I have been looking into it, but finding complete voice packs has been a challenge.
