This mod is amazing ! But is this normal that my screenshots don't have the mod and look vanilla ? If you can answer me how to screenshot with the mod in it, it would be cool. Thanks for this mod !
I never used master effect before, and I notice why some people don't like the grain effect: it's not dynamic -- the noise is based on screen x/y position, and doesn't change over time, so looks more like a dirty lens. I think it still looks cool, though, but it would probably look better if it were dynamic. I have a modified version of sweetfx where it is dynamic and use that in other games. I didn't really faff around to see if I can change that here, though (I'm getting too old to be so anal), but I did tone down the effect some within mastereffect.h.

This is so good! There aren't a lot of visual mods for XCOM unfortunately so I was very happy to find this one, it looks really nice, it's a must have for me now. Thanks!
