This is a collection of all my PatcherGUI mods for Long War. They require, of course, WGhost's PatcherGUI to install, and are only compatible with Long War b15f. These mods will not work for Vanilla EW. They may work with earlier versions of Long War, but I can't guarantee anything and will not be providing support.


There are nine mods currently available. They allow you to alter the following:

Command CooldownExalt Covert Extraction SquadItem and Perk Charges (UPDATED!), Soldier Hiring Time, Gollop Chamber Requirements, Mindfray Damage, Captured Drone Repair and Lightning Reflexes Dodge Chance (FIXED!)You can also remove the ITZ Damage Penalty.

These do what they say on the tin. 

Command Cooldown allows you to alter the, by default, 4 turn cooldown for an Officer's Command ability. It does not alter how many charges you can have for Command. Use Item and Perk Charges to alter this.

Note that a cooldown 'ticks' down on both XCOM's turn and the Alien's turn. Accordingly, in order to get your desired cooldown, you must do so via the following formula: (Desired Cooldown*2)+2. If you wanted Command to be usable every turn you would enter 02. If you wanted Command to have a 1 turn cooldown, you would enter 04. If you wanted Command to have a 5 turn cooldown you would enter 0C. 
This mod has been merged with Command Charges, which allows you to customize the number of charges you get per officer rank. Default value is 1 charge, default values for this mod is 2 charges per rank. 

Exalt Covert Extraction Squad allows you to customize how many soldiers go on exalt covert extractions. By default four, this mod allows you to customize how many soldiers go either upwards or downwards. Maximum is 12 soldiers, 10 if you're using We Are Legion second wave option (which already ups the amount of soldiers on covert extractions from 4 to 6). Credit to Dm666 on reddit for bringing the idea to my intention, as well as a working version of his own (author unknown). If you want to use his version, the link is here. My version allows for easier customization however.

Item and Perk Charges (UPDATED!) is a new, huge mod that lets you customize charges/mission for just about everything. Customize charges for MEC Large Items, the Arc Thrower, all grenades including the Psi Grenade, Ghost Grenade, Smoke Grenade, and Mimic Beacon, the amount of rockets you get for being a rocketeer and for taking the rocket small item, battlescanner charges. You can also customize the charges for the Officer's Command per rank, and edit additional charges granted through Packmaster, Smoke and Mirrors, Grenadier, and Shock and Awe. Every item is included sans Medikits and Shredder rockets because I can't quite figure out what their code is saying. Now updated to include the Psi Grenade (upgraded flashbang) with help from FlyingHigh.

Soldier Hiring Time allows for customization of how long it takes new recruits to enter the barracks and become available for mission selection. By default soldiers take 9 days from recruitment to reach the barracks. This mod allows you to customize that mod in one direction or another.

Minimum Volunteer Psi Rank allows easy customization of the minimum psi rank a soldier must have to enter the Gollop Chamber. The Gollop Chamber instantly ranks up a Psi Soldier to full, so you lose nothing by sending in a rank 1, 2, 3, or 4 Psi Soldier in instead of a rank 5 Psi Soldier. Allows you to skip the Psi Grind and avoid having to Mind Control an Ethereal. It also allows you to customize the required armour for your volunteer to wear, so you can put your volunteer in something other than Vortex Armour if, for some reason, you want to. ALIAS supports decimal entry now, so no conversion necessary!

Mindfray Damage allows you to customize, in decimal, the amount of damage that the Mindfray psi ability will do. Remember though, aliens get and will use mindfray on you, and will benefit from the damage buff too!

Remove ITZ Damage Penalty does exactly that. It requires no customization and should remove the hardcoded 1 damage/kill penalty for using In The Zone. As this is a bit difficult to test, let me know if there are any situations where you still lose damage.

Captured Drone Repair (NEW) simply allows captured drones to repair MECs and SHIVs for 3 HP a shot. Unlimited repair might arguably be overpowered, but who cares, it's a mod of a mod.

Lightning Reflexes Dodge Chance (UPDATED!) lets you set the malus applied to enemy aim when you have the lightning reflexes perk. By default, the first overwatch shot against a soldier with lightning reflexes has its hit rate multiplied by 0.10, that is to say its hit rate is one tenth of whatever it is originally. The second and subsequent overwatch shots all have their hit rates multiplied by 0.30, that is to say their hit rates are three tenths of whatever they are originally.
