    I like the idea of this.

    However, it seems this version is only available as a further mod to the Long War mod.

    If a version is created that works with normal EW, I will gladly try it out.

    Hey, just tried to add this to a vanilla Enemy Within game: "Error patching UPK!"

    So, for me at least, not compatible with non-Long War game.

    Just a headsup for anyone else looking at this.

    Beaglerush, you can already apply a shortened version of that string through a simple edit in the XComGame.INT file...
     
    Line #5003 (or near it)...
    m_aItemNamesPlural[eItem_WeaponFragment]="Fragments"
     
    PS; A few more text strings in other places will also be affected by this small change... but it's not that bad!
    PS2; Beta15D+ has added this feature & some others from Spazmo, btw.

    This is a great mod and it's a wonder this isn't already default behaviour! Personally though I think you should cut out the Weapon and just leave it as Fragments - it fits all the other one-word resource labels used on the screen, both thematically and literally space-wise.

    Very helpful! I also wondered why weapon fragments were never displayed on the engineering screen!
