Bro, this is without a doubt the most convoluted mod I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I spent like a day and a half tweaking Defaultinput.ini trying to figure out why automatic rotation wasn't working, only to realize that it's because I didn't install the other part of the mod that sets the rotation angle and makes the automatic feature work.
It's stunning how this community can come up with the most amazing hacks and changes to a game and at the same time fail so miserably at writing instructions so that someone else can make use of all their hard work. Seriously, you need to make a YouTube video or write more than one half-assed sentence on how to properly setup, what is otherwise, an excellent mod.
Hey man, ive got the most recent version of LW an ive followed your instructions correctly, but the second i use the [ key my camera shoots up to double the height and i cant zoom back down, i only have some textures mods sp im not sure whats happened. any help would be appreciated.
Could someone explain me how exactly "PitchCamera" works? I follow the instructions to put the keys [ and ] but it does nothing, you have to activate the command console or something like that to make it work or what to do?
If you install these camera tweaks does it stop the action camera working, don't seem to get it since installing these. Also in the zoom file what do Freedistance and Freezoom relate to?

As far as I remember, this mod does nothing to action camera directly.
For whatever reason free aiming has both distance and zoom factor. Can't remember why right now, as it was the long time ago. You can leave zoom factor at 1.0 and experiment with distance to get the camera you want for free aim shots.
I just patch Camera Zoom Levels, Camera Yaw Angle, and QE Free Rotation on EW. Everythings works, thanks OP.
Tips: If you want QE free rotation then you have to patch camera yaw angle too and to make QE free rotation works as OP intended, don't forget to change the value of yaw angle before you apply the patch to 10 and -10. No need to change binding, everything works.
It doesn't for me. Q/E buttons just keep rotating camera by -10,10 degrees angle (with Camera Yaw Angle as it evidently works well) instead of enabling mouse free look. Or I'm misinterpreting how QE free rotation mod is supposed to work? I'm using Long War Rebalanced with EW. Using latest PatcherGUI to install camera mods (to XEW dir).
Hey, man, maybe you can help me out because I'm really mystified by this. I had the Camera Yaw and QE Free Rotation mods running just fine a few months ago when I tried out Long War, but I just tried to set it up with a fresh install and the Free Rotation module is crashing my game on startup. I tried uninstalling literally every other thing and when QE is uninstalled, game runs fine. When it's installed, game crashes on startup.
I have no idea what could have happened, since the mod was running fine before.
EDIT: LOL, nevermind, I downloaded the EU version by mistake this time. I'm a goober

Like where to put those line of your text file ?
I play on Windows 10, XCOM EW.
Also in the zoom file what do Freedistance and Freezoom relate to?
