Using HairWorks beard only, with no/minimal performance impact-First download and install the optional
“Hair only” file from the
“HairWorks on everything but Geralt” mod.
-Launch the game and go into your “Video” -> “Graphics” options
-Set your HairWorks options to:
note: Set “NVIDIA HairWorks Preset” to LOW if you continue getting bad performance, LOW still looks much better than non-HairWorks

Note: the color has not been changed only the shininess
OPTIONAL FILES - BEARD STYLES AND MORE REALISTIC HAIR - Beard style A: fuller goatee (mustache separated from goatee). Replaces the default beard so it reacts to beard growth.
- Beard style B: fuller goatee (no mustache). Replaces the default beard so it reacts to beard growth.
- Beard style C, replaces dlc beards: 1) vanilla goatee is replaced with an almost identical goatee, only difference is that the mustache is separated. 2) Vanilla friendly mutton chops are replaced with kind of a wolverine (Hugh Jackman) style.
- “GeraltHairWorks_realBeard”: A more realistic beard, compatible with all colors and beard styles.
- “GeraltHairWorks_realHair”: More realistic hair (thinner more numerous strands), 3 versions (choose only one), check the readme inside for details.
Note: the beard styles are compatible with the color options,just make sure to have both the beard and color files in your mods folder.MISCELLANEOUS- Optional HairWorks Beard colors - black, blonde, and black with some light red. Obviously not lore friendly -
