I have not worked on any mods for over 5 years. I don't currently have the time, or a working PC that can handle modding, so unfortunately neither one of my Roach mods will be getting an update for the next gen patch. Sorry!

Still works perfectly on next gen 4.04 but all files must have higher priority in load order as it otherwise conflicts with Brother in Arms mod (it somehow seems to force vanilla horses into the game, also applies if you have the Nilfgaardian version of Roach).

i seem to be getting this error with the Feras_NewTributeHorses Error [content0]game\player\playerwitcher.ws(1128): Could not find function 'GetHorseMode'
however when i download the singular files without effects they work fine. i put in the files manually, mod manager says "Detected data folder but could not recognize it as part of a mod or dlc: Feras_NewTributeHorses/DLC/Feras_TributeHorsesDLC"

I managed to fix the error. Just copy and paste the following lines into the "horseManager.ws" file which is located in "The Witcher 3\Mods\modFera_Roach06_05ShadowmereSkyrim\content\scripts\game\vehicles\horse"
right click->edit with notepad->find the code below and add the line GetHorseMode()

public function GetHorseMode() : EHorseMode { return horseMode; }
i'm still in v1.32 will the shadowmere texture work?
EDIT: yup still working EDIT: well all horses have shadowmere eyes and most horses are shadowmere only few are still vanilla but with shadowmere eyes i thought the texture was exclusive to roach only EDIT: v2.0 fixed the problem tyvm for this wonderful mod

It seems like you are missing the file "Feras_TributeHorsesDLC". You have to find it in the full file download and place the "Feras_TributeHorsesDLC" inside dlc folder.
No it is not that. I get the same error. This mods conflict with increase Loot rate mod (Ultimate) Script merger doesnt allow then to merge. Tested on Next Gen version.
Strange bug: Noise with Acherus Deathcharger in BnW
Upon arriving in Toussaint, Acherus Deathcharger permanently gets a weird boom on moving above a certain speed. Only this skin is affected. It does not go away even after returning to Velen/Skellige. However removing this mod fixes the issue, as does installing different skins. KillHorse and changing gear does nothing.
Maybe delete everything but the scripts from the mod? Not sure if the scripts would also need an edit. It's been 4 years since I worked on these so it's a little hard to remember ^^'
I wish it was a simple fix, but if the Thick Roach mod is made the way I think it is, then it will require a complete overhaul of my entire mod xD I explored giving Roach a thicker body too, but ended up not doing it because of the clipping with the armors.
