Unfortunately that isn't possible because when Geralt truly dies (e.g. from falls/monsters), it's permanent, which means that even if you lose gold or items, you will not be able to continue the game unless you reload from a save.
This mod works because Geralt becomes unconscious, not dead, even though his health gets depleted completely and he appears to be "killed" by the guards.
I think it's possible. I will look into it but I can't promise that I'll actually release a mod to implement that change. If I do release a mod however, I'll let you know via PM since you were the first person to request that feature.
I'll absolutely be using this for my rougher playthrough of Witcher 3, as it is now I don't really mess with guards so much, but I do like the idea of being penalized for misbehaving!

Can you do a mod that always lose gold or items when you die??? not only guards,monsters,falls too?
